As part of a family sabbatical or a vacation in itself, volunteer travel offers personal rewards that “just being a tourist” cannot. We have assembled a group of programs that can and will accept families as volunteers. In some countries, particularly in South America, we can help you create your own volunteer experience. Some programs are compatible only with adult and teenage participation, but this makes for a great rite of passage or parent/child bonding trip.
